Thunderbird Poro Point Resorts is one of my personal favorite destinations in my home town - San Fernando City, La Union. It is such as paradise for me where the sea meets the plains and the hills. But what made this place more exciting is the recently held John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles celebrity wedding on February 26, 2011.
I am not a fan of John nor Priscilla. However, the first time I heard about it really got me interested simply because of the fact that they are celebrities, and that they will be coming over to San Fernando City! I could already imagine the other celebrities who will be with them to attend their special day. It is also a bit intriguing that John Estrada, who is known as one of the "playboys" in the Philippine showbiz industry, would finally be settling down. The question that runs in my mind, and perhaps, for most Filipinos is - would the marriage ever last? Based on Estrada's track record on women, one could easily say that this is just one of his whirlwind romances. On the other hand, it can also be assumed that he finally learned his lesson and met his match! Now, this is something that we have to wait and see.
Though I frequent the venue, I wasn't able to see the wedding since the place was not open for public viewing on that date. I wasn't even able to watch it on TV. When I had the luxury of time, I did search for it over the internet and I'm glad I found very nice photos and video clips from Nice Print Photo, the couple's official international destination wedding photographer. I can't also help but to commend on the superb production of the wedding teasers by the said company. Well, being the country's finest international destination wedding photographers, whose employees roam around the world to document similar special events, the outcome could simply be the best! Based on the video clip, John and Priscilla are so in love. The couple really look good together. So, despite of all the speculations and doubts whether or not their marriage is meant to last forever.
